CO-MANAGEMENT
Co-management is a contractual arrangement in which physicians are engaged by the
health system to provide an assortment of management activities for a hospital program,
service or department. Under the agreement physicians receive a base fee and performance
incentives if pre-determined quality or performance benchmarks are met.
